Day two of Fall wedding inspiration. I think on some of the tables we are going to do white pumpkins. I love the idea of making them a bit more glam by adding glitter. It is quick easy and adds to much!
White Hand Bouquet Inspiration
When I did my friend Mary’s wedding last week one of her friends approached me to help with her wedding flowers. I was so excited to start drumming up inspiration for her big day. She wants to use all white flowers. The wedding is going to be in the Fall at one of my favorite Milwaukee spots, The Iron Horse Hotel.
The bride was hoping to do her bouquet in one solid flower. I love this option (which are Anemone White Flowers). You can also do it with Gerber Daisy’s at a better price!
I also like the option of just lilies or orchids all together.
Lately, I have been loving lilies in general….they look really pretty mixed with roses.
solid calla lilies are always a classic choice.
although peonies will be out of season by October, we could also do white garden roses, which are some of my faves.
Just to mix things up I though I would add one, sorta out there option but would look amazing in a fall wedding….
Flower Crowns
My good friend is getting married this week and I am not only in her weddig but I have the pleasure of doing her flowers. I am pumped! We have practiced hers but one thing she just decided she wanted was a flower crown for her flower girl. A brief pinterest search got me this tutorial by A Beautiful Mess. Can’t wait to try it out this week!
Blue and White Table
This weekend was my graduation from my MBA which was super exciting. But the more exciting thing was dinner after. We decided to do it at my parents house (since when I tried booking all the good restaurants even in January were booked). But it ended up being even better than if we had gone out. I made the table runner. I posted about my inspiration here. I also bought flowers from Whole Foods to create a center floral arrangement. I think it looked just perfect!
I mixed my mothers Ralph Lauren Salad Plates with plain square plates she found a while back at TJMax. I love the way the printed plates off set the table runner I made.
I also just love how the Hydrangea/Rose bouquet looked in the vintage soup tureen I got for my wedding shower. I also use the same vase on my Christmas Table shown here.
Glitter Mini Champagne Bottles
This weekend was a good friends bachlorette party, I am in her wedding in 2 weeks. We decided to make mini champagne bottles even cuter….who would have thought that was possible. We modge podged and glittered them! So fun. And so easy. We just painted them with the modge podge, sprinkled the glitter let, dry. Then after a bit of drying we sprayed it with the modge podge spray.
Giant DIY Art
Just saw this DIY from 6th Street Design School today. Loving the scale and print….I am thinking of doing it for my living room…..thoughts?
I like the black and white one but I LOVE this blue….
