I am excited to share the delayed flower pictures from an August Wedding I had the pleasure of being the florist for! The bride and groom wanted to have wild bohemian flowers and I think they turned out just great!!
I loved the pedestals we used to layout a great backdrop for the ceremony. They worked our perfectly.

This past weekend I had the pleasure of playing florist for another wedding. This one was at the Iron Horse Hotel, one of my favorite places in Milwaukee. The bride wanted simple but a bit rustic and we played up the fall season. I did the hand bouquets with a variety of white flowers, football mums, garden roses, carnations, and spider mums.
I also made simple willow branch arrangements, which was really fun since I have never done them before. I didn’t know what to expect but they turned out to be a hit! We used them at the front of the aisle and the back and then post ceremony were transferred to be scattered on the tables. It’s always a nice way to get double use out of your arrangements.
The last thing I made for the wedding were these adorable football mum arrangements done in wooden long boxes. Here again, we were able to line the aisle during the ceremony and then transferred them to the tables for the dinner.
I just love doing flowers so it was fun having another opportunity this year!

When I did my friend Mary’s wedding last week one of her friends approached me to help with her wedding flowers. I was so excited to start drumming up inspiration for her big day. She wants to use all white flowers. The wedding is going to be in the Fall at one of my favorite Milwaukee spots, The Iron Horse Hotel.
The bride was hoping to do her bouquet in one solid flower. I love this option (which are Anemone White Flowers). You can also do it with Gerber Daisy’s at a better price!
I also like the option of just lilies or orchids all together.
Lately, I have been loving lilies in general….they look really pretty mixed with roses.
solid calla lilies are always a classic choice.
although peonies will be out of season by October, we could also do white garden roses, which are some of my faves.
Just to mix things up I though I would add one, sorta out there option but would look amazing in a fall wedding….
Ellen’s wedding continues…I’m excited to share pictures of the wedding shower I hosted for my sister in law this past March. We did it at my condo. Again, the beautiful pictures were taken by my very talented sister in law, see her work here.
I loved all the bright colors, and the flowers my sisters got me for my MBA graduation ended up being a perfect backdrop!
In early March I had the pleasure of doing the flowers for my new sister in law’s wedding. It was so fun. She wanted flowers similar to mine (shown here) but with brighter pinks. We used peonies, garden roses, roses, and ranunculous. I think they turned out just perfect. The pictures were taken by my other very talented sister in law Jillian Crawford Photography.
