Wedding Wednesday: Tea Shower
This Saturday I had my wedding shower on Chris’s side of the family. It was beautiful.
It was at the Briggs Mansion in Rockford IL.
My soon to be sister in law is a photographer and she was snapping pictures the whole day. I hope to share them when I get them!
Wedding Wednesday: Invitations!
I am very excited that we finally got our invitations out and we are already getting response cards back. Chris and I designed our invites ourselves, and I am super happy with the way they turned out.
The front has beautiful peonies (my favorite flower) and a gingham back. We also branded all the pieces with the four leaf clover since Chris and I met on St. Patrick’s day!

Wedding Wednesday: Save the Dates
Happy Wednesday: Hope everyone is having a great week. I am excited to share my Save the Dates for the wedding today. I got them in the mail yesterday so hopefully they are safely on their way.

Wedding Wednesday: Engagment Pictures!
I am so excited to share our engagement pictures with you today! We got them taken at the end of the fall season. We went to all my favorite spots in the downtown and we even got a few good ones with our little puppy! Hope you like them too!
Wedding Wednesday: Grand Staircase Lake Park
So two weeks ago I was still stressing out about where the cermony was going to be for the wedding. Then I heard that you could get a permit to do a ceremony on this beautiful staircase here in Lake Park. Chris and I both love this park and the staircase so I quickly applied for the permit. I haven’t heard back from the city yet – so fingers crossed and fingers crossed for no rain!
