Blue and White Table

This weekend was my graduation from my MBA which was super exciting. But the more exciting thing was dinner after. We decided to do it at my parents house (since when I tried booking all the good restaurants even in January were booked). But it ended up being even better than if we had gone out. I made the table runner. I posted about my inspiration here. I also bought flowers from Whole Foods to create a center floral arrangement. I think it looked just perfect!

I mixed my mothers Ralph Lauren Salad Plates with plain square plates she found a while back at TJMax. I love the way the printed plates off set the table runner I made.

I also just love how the Hydrangea/Rose bouquet looked in the vintage soup tureen I got for my wedding shower. I also use the same vase on my Christmas Table shown here.

Wedding Shower

Ellen’s wedding continues…I’m excited to share pictures of the wedding shower I hosted for my sister in law this past March. We did it at my condo. Again, the beautiful pictures were taken by my very talented sister in law, see her work here.

I loved all the bright colors, and the flowers my sisters got me for my MBA graduation ended up being a perfect backdrop!

Hot Pink Wedding Flowers

In early March I had the pleasure of doing the flowers for my new sister in law’s wedding. It was so fun. She wanted flowers similar to mine (shown here) but with brighter pinks. We used peonies, garden roses, roses, and ranunculous. I think they turned out just perfect. The pictures were taken by my other very talented sister in law Jillian Crawford Photography. Ginger Jars and Pink Roses

I love the look of ginger jars and pink roses.

So I was at my mom’s house for Easter and she has ginger jars all over the place, she is a bit obsessed which is so fun. So I decided to make our Easter table bouquet with one of the short ones….

Aren’t they pretty? I like the way it turned out. Sorry the pic isn’t great. I need to get better and not taking pictures in a rush before guests come!

Latley….

I have been MIA in the last month. I do have some good excuses. I FINALLY finished my MBA about 2 weeks ago. I was running around finishing my thesis paper and I couldn’t be happier to be done. Right after that I traveled to NYC for work, and then we had a wedding in the family. For which I did the flowers. So things finally seem to be settling down around here and I am excited to have some time once again to catch up on blogging.

Wedding Wednesday: Hot Pink!

So I am doing my soon to be sister in laws flower for her wedding coming up in March. I can’t wait. We are doing lots of layers of hot pink! I just reached out to the florist to begin deciding our final assortment!
