I am excited to share the delayed flower pictures from an August Wedding I had the pleasure of being the florist for! The bride and groom wanted to have wild bohemian flowers and I think they turned out just great!!
I loved the pedestals we used to layout a great backdrop for the ceremony. They worked our perfectly.

Summer is almost over and we have been getting in as much summer fun as possible. Last weekend we went to our favorite spot on Lake Michigan. Isn’t is beautiful? I think this weekend we are going to try and squeeze in a picnic this weekend.
Last night I had the opportunity to eat at one of my favorite restaurants in MKE — Harbor House. It is right on Lake Michigan and the interior design is heaven!
The interiors is perfect for the location. Overlooking Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee Skyline. I would love to decorate a summer cottage like this…Get the Look!

Milwaukee has been getting a lot of fun restaurants lately. I visited one on Friday night with my friend Mary — Millioke.
The food was great, and the atmosphere was awesome. Four things I love about this space (pardon by iphone pics).
1. The beautiful old arches divided two sides of the space.
2. The cluster lighting they used to make the space modern.
3. The leather chairs and tufted bench at the tables and in the bar.
4. All the mix-matching. If you notice there are several types of chairs used throughout. It made the space eclectic and unexpected.

This weekend was a bit chilly for July in Milwuakee, but we tried to make the best of it. On Saturday I helped my friend Mary at the farmers market. She has recently started a small baking business. She is currently selling to The Wicked Hop, Ruby Tap, and she already signed a couple of weddings. I am so excited for her as she starts her new adventure. Check out her facebook page here.
