Urban Outfitters Duvets

 So for the last couple of months I have been searching for duvet covers to re-do my room, and am having a rather hard time deciding how I would like to put it all together. I keep browsing all over and no duvet/bed combo has struck me yet. So for now I will continue to show some inspiration until I actually make a decision. Here are some reasonable options from Urban Outfitters. I check them from time to time just to be sure I havne’t missed anything. Their prints are always graphic and bold – and usually sell out quickly. So if you see one you like – don’t hesitate!

Gift Giving – Decanters

Tis the season for Holiday Parties. I had my first one this weekend. I love bars set up in houses especially for parties. It is nice to have a one stop shop for guests grab a drink. Below I found some lovely at home bars for inspiration and a round up of my favorite decanters to display on your bar!

Rescue: Antique Dresser

 I LOVE refinishing old furniture! Most of the pieces in my condo are things I just couldn’t pass up on craigslist or at a flea market. Since I only have an 1100 sq ft place at this point it is pretty much filled with all my beautiful redone pieces. However when I found this old diamond in the ruff on craigslist a while back I just couldn’t pass it up! It’s lovely unique detailing in the wood, dove-tailed drawers, and overall attention to detail was just music to my ears. It was just waiting for a little love. Below are before and after pics of the project. I painted it gray because I have been in love with gray furniture lately. The wood details I tried to show off even more by using a charcoal – silver accent paint. I finished it off with a poly coating to help resist chipping. If you like it – send me an email because I just don’t have a home for it!
