Sunday Brunch
I love dressing up a table for any occasion. So this weekend I decided to have my friend Mary over so we could catch up.
I busted out my favorite dishes and did some print mixing.

As for food I tried this new recipe from Martha Stewart for the appetizer, Roasted Tomato and Ricotta Crostini. I made individual egg bakes from my own making. The little bite size desserts I just picked up from whole foods, but I think next time i am going to try and make them. I don’t think they would be too hard!
I served the egg bake with greens and bacon.
It was a lovely brunch!

Gift Basket 101
I think gift baskets are so fun! It is always a welcomed gift because I fill them with small indulgences that you would usually not buy yourself. I pulled one together for my mom’s birthday this week and it was a big hit.

Country Table Setting
This weekend I was at my parents house. I always love going over there because my mom has beautiful dishes to play with!
Her china that we used is this Lauren by Ralph Lauren Collection.
Also over the weekend I helped my mom do a little update to her dinning room table. She was getting a bit tired of her previous decor so we spruced it up with some stacked ginger jars! Don’t you love!!
New York Recap
I’m back! I have been in New York for the week for work. This visit was fun because I went in early to visit with a friend and I actually got to see a bit of the city!
First we hit up Brooklyn. It was fun to hang out here! I have been before but only for work dinners so I haven’t really had chance to experience it!
Next up was the Highline. I have wanted to visit here for some time. So beautiful! A little oasis in the city!

Hooray for ABC Carpet and Home! I love visiting here. I get so inspired by all the beautiful things!
And we had to pick up macaroons at Laduree. So delish and the interior of the shop is heaven. I mean look at those gorgeous window displays. So beautiful!
