Hope to find some time to work on my chairs this weekend. I am going to paint them a turq and upholster them with some pink/orange ikat fabric and maybe some solid coral for the cushion. Fingers crossed I find time!
Dinner Party This Weekend
This weekend we are having my parents and Chris’s parents over for dinner as a mini thank you dinner before the wedding. I have been thinking of my menu all week.
I think we will do steak and lobster for dinner with the risotto I made 2 weeks ago.
I really want to try out my new kitchen aid ice cream attachment that I got for my shower so I think this sorbet sounds amazing!

Wedding Wednesday: Bachelorette Invites
I can’t believe how close the wedding is getting. I was even more excited when I got my bachelorette invite in the mail. Made by my sister, I thought they were so cute!
Do you like them? We are going to be doing a fancy dinner party outside for the celebration. I can’t wait!

Sorry I was on hiatus for a week. We were in wedding invite mode trying to tie up all the details with that. But they are officially in the mail and I am feeling much calmer!
Anyway over the last week I did get some cooking in. I tried this risotto recipe. Super simple and easy but SO delish!
I got to play tea party with my new Wedgewood tea set I got from my last shower. I am in love with them. seriously!
And this past weekend Chris and I celebrated getting the wedding invites out, and planning our honey moon, with a toast at brunch. Our favorite spot Trocadero. The next two months are going to be super busy leading up to the wedding and I have a couple work travel trips. Lets just hope I remain sane until it is all done!
