I am obsessed with accent plates. I think if I had space to hold them all I would be out of control buying them all up! Since we can’t buy all them it is always fun to dream….I just found these delightful fun spunky plates from Kate Spade. They would be the perfect companion to any Thanksgiving table – even mixing them with white plates (which is what I end up doing since my plate collection is probably 4 accent to 1 dinner).

The days here in Wisconsin are sure feeling like fall. All weekend the crisp air was everywhere. Here is a pic I took outside my car window while driving home to my parents. What a lucky shot – it was such a beautiful day

Fall Comfort Food
This weekend was a great dose of fall for me. I went home for a bit and made this beef stew from Cooking Light on Sunday afternoon. I have made this before and it is a great recipe. It is easy to make, just takes a bit of time – the longer you let the meat slow cook over the stove the better it is!
Rumpus Room
Happy Friday! I can’t wait for the weekend and it is almost here. Last night I had a fun little girls night to help me get through one more work day. My friend Julie surprised me with tickets to a wine and appetizer event at the Public Museum downtown to celebrate the opening of the new Cleopatra exhibit. Then we headed over to the new Bartollata restaurant, Rumpus Room, in Milwaukee to check it out. The atmosphere was so cozy and fun. We had a cheese plate and some appetizers and everything was very delicious. I will have to go back again soon to check out the entree menu.
Waiting patiently
Happy Thursday! It seems like weeks lately have just been flying by! This week I have been waiting patiently for this Pearl Chunky necklace I found on BaubleBar recently. I can’t wait to mix it with so many things – it will certainly jazz up any outfit. I feel like pearls in general go with anything – so I can’t wait to layer this into my wardrobe. I might have to purchase the skirt and top below too.

Wallpaper Wednesday – Delux
This week for Wallpaper Wednesday lets take a trip across the pond to visit Delux from the UK. I stumbled upon this small collection of wallpaper while flipping thru some articles on House and Home UK. I love the way they were able to take traditional damask and florals and make them updated and relevant to today.
