So Saturday night Chris and I were invited to our friends, Colby and Dan’s apartment for a sushi night. But instead of ordering in these pro’s tackled making our own and teaching us along the way.

Start with lots of amazing veggies!

Saute up the mushrooms and get the rice ready to go! (ps did you know there is specail sushi rice for making these rolls? because I didn’t)

After all the ingredients were in came the hard part. We used the sushi mat to roll up all the ingredients meanwhile making sure you press pretty hard to get them super tight! This part was tricky mine didn’t really stay together…I need a bit of practice.

Did you know Spoonflower started carrying wallpaper? I just found this out last week and I am PUMPED. They have a huge variety of prints from contemporary to pretty traditional. The only challenge is picking which you are going to buy!
