Friday night I stayed in after picking up some beautiful flowers from Whole Foods. Then, true to hydrangea form they were droopy by morning. I was about done with having my hydreagas do that. So I found this blog post that talked about what to do to stop wilting.
I put them in boiling hot water and let them sit until they perked up. I am pumped for learning this little trick and wanted to be sure I shared with you too!

Did everyone read this months Lonny? I am absolutely LOVING the winter Luncheon in the issue. The table cloth is to die for. I might need to work on making one myself. Love the print and the edge finished with tassels.
Honestly red isn’t my favorite color. I am very particular about what shades I like. But these prints I am loving. Here are some other great fabrics from this source! Would you use any of these kitchy prints?

Happy Wednesday: Hope everyone is having a great week. I am excited to share my Save the Dates for the wedding today. I got them in the mail yesterday so hopefully they are safely on their way.

I have to say I was never really a huge fan of Lucite. But lately I have been loving it. I love when people mix traditional rooms with a touch of it. I think it gives nice contrast in a room.
Anyway I have been thinking of getting a Lucite chair for my desk. Awhile back my dad made me a saw horse desk, which I still need to paint. I was thinking a Lucite chair would go great with it.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I had a very nice weekend. On Saturday my sister, mother, and I went down to Chicago to go registering! We had such a good time. Before we went I wasn’t sure if I would get a set of china, because I already have 2 from my grandmothers. However when we got there I found the most beautiful set. Since I already have 2 very traditional sets (one white with silver trim, and one white with a flower edge) I wanted to find a beautiful more updated set. We found this…
So after we found this lovely china. We started having a lot of fun print mixing with other pieces.
I love all the main peices from the set but I also love it mixed with these dishes.
